Jesse was sculpted from life in 2015. Jesse was a native American Indian who lived in Dublin; he was was a member of the Chiricahua tribe, one of several tribes that make up the Apache Nation. The bust was made in a scale of 1.5 x life-size to emphasize the sitter’s striking features. Jesse’s long dark hair gives the sculpture movement and dynamism.
