The Design Tower

The Design Tower is located at the corner of Pearse Street and Grand Canal Quay within Trinity Technology & Enterprise Campus, a ten minute walk from Dublin city centre. This impressive seven storey structure was built as a sugar refinery in 1862 for Bewley, Moss & Co., by the renowned theatre architect Alfred Derbyshire.

Today The Tower is alive with talent and home to award-winning art, design and craft studios, all open to the public five days a week. Evening and weekend visits are also available by appointment.

Vehicle and pedestrian entrance on Grand Canal Quay, opposite the Waterways Visitor Centre. Parking available.

You can read more about the studios in the Design Tower on their website: www.thedesigntower.com and you can watch this short documentary film filmed at The Design Tower.
