Commissioned by Kerry County Council
for Tralee Town Park, County Kerry.
The sculpture was proposed by the female Elected Members of the Council. The brief was to commemorate the role of women in Kerry during the struggle for Irish freedom between 1912 and 1923.
A public competition was advertised and Elizabeth won with a submission inspired by the iconic artworks of the French Revolution.
Public unveiling will be in July 2026.
