Made for a group show titled Wunderkammer of the artists in The Design Tower Studios. The inspiration was the Albert Bender Collection of Asian Art in the National Museum of Ireland in Collins Barracks, gathered by Albert Bender, an Irish American Industrialist (1866-1941) . The Buddha is seated in full lotus position, feet facing upwards and the hands laid peacefully in meditation.
