Jesse, a native American Indian living in Dublin, is a member of the Chiricahua tribe, one of several tribes that make up the Apache Nation. The bust is made in a scale of one and a half times life size to emphasize the sitter’s striking features. Jesse’s long dark hair gives the sculpture movement and dynamism.
